How do you get rid of starlings? They have suddenly taken over the backyard and made a mess of it.

Can you describe your feeding stations? How many feeders and what kind? Are they tube feeders or hoppers or both? What kind of seed are you serving? Is it a mix, if so, can you tell me the fat content? (look for the fat content on the package, by law it has to list it)
If you provide us these answers, we can better serve you.
Thanks,
WBD

I am so bereft that there are no birds at my feeder, and haven’t been for some time now (about one month). I cleaned all my old feeders, I put a brnd new one out with “meaties”, I have put brand new suet in a new suet feeder. Not a single bird. I have never had this happen in 10 years of feeding the birds.

Hello Gail,
Not to worry, this is a common happenstance in many areas from time to time. Are there any signs of squirrels or chipmunks around or are they also absent?
